A Night Of Struggle and Encouragement

Highlight : Joseph was taking food and liquids by mouth again last night.

…..

I have just come back to Joseph and taken over from his grandmother. After the treatment he received to reduce the pain in his mouth he ate some bread and drank some water on his own.

The bad news was his bowels continue to be fast and he had many cramps and was very disturbed often with a sense of anguish and frustration. He is sleeping now but I continue to pray that this will pass soon.

Prayer Request : Please do ask the Father to help Joseph clear his bowels. It is such a mundane thing but it is something that matters a great deal to us right now.

  1. Hi Ed and Kate
We’re far from u geographically but please, be assured of our love and prayers at this anxious time. Ps 93:4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea – the Lord on high is mighty.

  3. Hi Ed&Kate. The Blog is a great idea for updating everyone so that we can pray more accurately and specifically for Joseph. We can only imagine the heartache, pain and strain you are all experiencing now.Our family are praying much for you and also our church family are remembering you knowing that we have a great God who is in control and never leaves us or forsakes us. Just want to leave this quote with you, I read it recently and it has been a great encouragement.

God didn’t promise days without pain,
Laughter without sorrow, or sun without rain,
But he did promise strength for the day,
Comfort for the tears , and light for the way
If God brings you to it He will bring you through it!
